Missouri Concealed Carry Weapon (CCW) classes are taught by JR Marketing/The Gun Shop. This class fulfills the mandatory training requirement of Missouri State Statue RSMo 571.111.2. Special emphasis is made on weapons safety in and outside of the home. Instruction on the basic principles of marksmanship and the care and cleaning of firearms is covered. Missouri legal requirements for certification and laws relating to concealed carry, and justifiable use of force are also included in the class. The course is handicapped accessible.  

A total of eight (8) hours of instruction is divided between an interactive lecture and live fire range training. The cost of the class is $100.00 per student. This price includes gun rental if needed. Lunch will also be provided.

You will need one (1) double action revolver and one (1) semi-automatic pistol and about 150 rounds of ammunition. No single action revolvers (cowboy style) will be allowed. Also required are hearing and eye protection, a cap/hat with a bill and appropriate clothing. No open toe shoes or sandals are allowed.

Upon successful completion, each graduate will be issued a certificate of Firearms Safety Training that meets the requirements for the Missouri Concealed Carry license application, as well as a certificate suitable for hanging.

Applications are accepted on a first come, first confirmed basis. Applicants are ONLY considered registered when all fees and properly completed forms are received.
